Randall has written a comic about an old TV/book series, and compared Wikipedia to flying around on a magic school bus that is capable of many wondrous, impossible feats. Unfortunately for us, Wikipedia does not have genitals, so Randall cannot use oral sex to express his appreciation and keep us out of the loop altogether.
Maybe one day he will find a way.
I think the point of the comic is that he's trying to make Wikipedia look interesting by comparing it to the Magic School Bus. But it only succeeds in making the Magic School Bus look boring.
ReplyDelete*sigh* And my expectations were high when I saw the artwork.
Comic starts off with a dated meme. Coloring is inconsistent, with some people's hair filled in with color, others unfilled. No explanation as to why they got into the school bus, then logged onto Wikipedia: if Wikipedia was the plan all along, why get onto the school bus? Or did the school bus plan fail (why?), forcing them to resort to Wikipedia?
ReplyDeleteI won't even go into the question of the scaling factor, time, and location needed to enable them to see Saturn, an amoeba, a 1950s nuclear missile, the gearwheels inside a watch, a rainbow, and something that I'm not sure what it is, all at once.
Duh, they are able to see those things cause it's imagination, something that Randall has lacked for a while.
ReplyDeleteIn Randall's version, in a time before Wikipedia existed, would they have taken the Magic School Bus to a library and looked in a textbook or encyclopedia? Or is he unaware that such things existed?
ReplyDeleteFuck you Randall. For ruining my childhood. First books I ever read that seemed like they had a point.
ReplyDeleteAnd fuck you Kittens. You suck at this very much now.
