Comic 915: Cockroach disaster

Alt-text: Our brains have just one scale, and we resize our experiences to fit.

This comic is pretty good, and if you don't like it there is something wrong with you.

  1. This blog jumped the shark just as soon as I joined. Coincidence?

  2. Yes.

And I like the comic too.

Captcha: ...skyworm. What the fuck. Who writes these, science fiction authors?

  3. No

Obviously the captchas are written by Chinese girls in a factory somewhere, where they are forced to work sweatshop conditions with no wages. They train them at age 4 to do the swirly typography. They are rewarded with food scraps when a captcha fools someone. But they get beatings every time they accidentally write a real English word. Don't ask me why, Google just works that way.

Those that are intelligent enough are allowed to graduate to the Wolfram|Alpha program. Ever wonder why Wolfram|Alpha takes a few seconds to load when you ask it something? Yeah.
